The City and Township Tour is more or less a 3 hour tour.
It will give you a stunning view over Windhoek from the famous Lover's Hill while you get to know the comprehensive history of Windhoek and Namibia from colonial era to modern day.

The following places will be visited will on the tour; Christ Church, Ink Palace, Parliament Gardens, Rider Memorial and the Old Fort. We then drive to Katutura Township, visiting Penduka Women's Centre.

The tour will end by visiting the Diamond Works Centre. Here you get to know how this precious gemstone and Namibia's number one export, The Diamond, is cut polished, from a ruff stone to a sparkling wander. Traditional Lunch or Dinner of your choice can be arranged on request.

DUSTERNBROOK SAFARI GUEST FARM
Dusternbrook is the first guest farm in Namibia, located just north of Windhoek. The guest farm is perfect for your first or last days in Namibia. HOCHLAND NEST:

Day 2 Saturday, Desert ExpressDune Excursion and arrival in Swakopmund

Day 1: Our driver will collect you from your accommodation. Check in time at Windhoek Station at 11H30 in winter for departure 12H00, or 12H30 in summer for departure at 13H00. You will be welcomed with a complimentary drink and delicious open sandwiches. The train leaves Windhoek and arrives at Oropoko Game Lodge for a game drive. Upon returning to the train, enjoy a sundowner in the relaxed atmosphere of the lounge as the sun set over the endless plains. Dinner will be served at the spacious Welwitschia restaurant and overnight at a siding.

Day 2:
Enjoy breakfast on board the train and continue deeper into the desert where you will be taken on a guided dune excursion. The dunes are really unique! ITINERARY
Day 1 – After an early pick up from the hotel we head south, via the Spreetshoogte Pass with far reaching views of the Namib Desert, to Sossusvlei where we will spend two nights at the Namib Desert Lodge. This lodge is a firm favorite with our visitors to Nambia.
Day 2 – In order to capture the dunes at their most spectacular, we depart at 06H00and drive to Sossusvlei where we will have our breakfast under camel thorn trees before embarking on climbing the highest dunes in the world. We will then visit Sesriem Canyon where the Tsauchab River has exposed millions of years of geological history. We return to Solitaire for lunch, with the afternoon at leisure.
Day 3 – After a leisurely breakfast we may take a different route, passing through Remboogte Pass and arriving back at Windhoek in the afternoon.

ITINERARY
Day 1: You will be collected from you accommodation between 8H00 and 8H30. You will have a long drive today. Arrive in Okaukuejo and set up camp. Explore the surrounding and spend time at the swimming pool. After Dinner spend time around the campfire, a visit to the floodlit waterhole is recommended. There is a good change you will see lions and rhinos dink water. Included meals: Dinner Lodging: Okaukuejo Camp

Day 2:
Spend today game driving. You will be visiting a number of waterholes and make a stop at the Etosha pan, the “place of dry water”. Is a place of shimmering mirages, and being able to see large herbs of game. Stop at the middle camp for lunch (lunch of clients account) before continuing to Namutoni. Relax at Namutoni swimming pool before an afternoon game drive. You will have a close view of impalas, giraffes, springbok, zebra, gemsbok and plenty of birds.

Day 3:
Early morning game drive and have the change to take some last pictures of Etosha in the morning. Return to Windhoek, passing through farmlands and small towns. ETOSHA EXPERIENCE/Lodging
Highlights: Etosha National Park is one of the world’s greatest conservation areas and home to four of the ‘Big Five’ Lion, Elephant, Leopard and Rhino. It covers an area of 8598 square miles. The park is famous for its concentration of wildlife around its waterholes, especially in the dry season. Elephant, giraffe, blue wildebeest, ostrich, gemsbok, impala, springbok and zebra are plentiful and nearly 400 bird species have been recorded. Remember to bring a good supply of batteries/film for your cameras!

ITINERARY
Day 1 -Pick up from hotel and set out from Windhoek at approximately 09H00 hours, passing through Okahandja a town of great significance to the Herero people because it was once the main settlement of the Ovaherero people. We pay a visit here to the Woodcarvers Market before heading north to the Okaukuejo Rest Camp which will be our base for the next two nights.

Day 2 - We spend the whole day game viewing in Etosha National Park, spending as long or as little time as you like at each waterhole.

Day 3 – We have another full day of game viewing. Etosha has 17 water holes and we will attempt to visit as many of these as possible. Tonight we stay at the Halali Rest Camp.

Day 4 – After breakfast, and one final look at the water hole, we head back to Windhoek with a stopover in Otjiwarango for lunch.

ITINERARY
Day 1- After pick up from airport or hotel we travel to the largest sand mass on earth, the Kalahari Desert and our accommodation for the night, the Kalahari Anib Lodge. Arriving early afternoon, you may wish to take part in the game drive offer by Lodge. (Optional)

Day 2-We travel south through the expansive rocky plains, visiting the Quiver Tree forest nestled amongst massive dolerite boulders and continue towards the second largest canyon in the world: Fish River Canyon.Overnight at Canon Lodge.

Day 3- In the morning we visit the Fish River Canyon and thereafter we will visit the feral horses at Garub before reaching Luderitz in the afternoon. Overnight at Nest Hotel or similar for two nights.

Day 4- In the morning we will visit the ghost town of Kolmanskop, the old diamond town of the early 1900’s. In the afternoon we will have a scenic drive to Diaz Point and explore the beautiful German architectural buildings.

Day 5- Our early morning start is rewarded with a beautiful scenic route taking us through the southern Namib towards Sossusvlei. We arrive at the Desert Homestead, our base for the night, in time for a refreshing sundowner.

Day 6-In order to capture the dunes at their most spectacular, we depart before sunrise to visit Sossusvlei and the Deadvlei. You will have the opportunity to climb some of the highest dunes in the world before we enjoy our breakfast under one of the many camel thorn trees in the area. We will then visit the Sesriem Canyon before returning to the Namib Desert Lodge, with the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 7- After a leisurely breakfast we will drive back to Windhoek, arriving in the afternoon. Clients will be dropped off at the airport or hotel.

Day 3 – Today we visit Sossusvlei, one of Namibia’s most famous attractions. The towering sand dunes (up to 325 meters high) are at their most beautiful in the early morning so we set out early to see the color transformation of the dunes at its best. You will have an opportunity to climb one of the highest dunes and we will visit Sesriem Canyon where the Tsauchab River has exposed millions of years of geological history. Day 4 - Today we drive through the Namib Naukluft Park, the third largest game reserve in Africa and one of the largest in the world. You will have plenty of opportunities to see gemsbok, springbok and ostrich. We pass through the Kuiseb Canyon and arrive in Walvis Bay in time for lunch. Overnight at Cornerstone for two nights (BB)

Day 5 - A day of optional activities in Swakopmund. You may decide to explore the town with its spectacular German colonial-style architecture, the lighthouse and the Kristal Galleries where you can see the largest known crystal cluster. There are also opportunities to go quad biking, sand boarding or enjoy a dolphin cruise. Overnight at Cornerstone (BB)

Day 6 – After breakfast we depart for Damaraland, a land of contrasts with majestic flat-topped mountains, deep gorges and plains stretching as far as the eye can see. This afternoon we visit Twyfelfontein: rock engravings, some of which date back 5,000 year. Overnight at Twyfelfontein Country Lodge (DBB)

Day 7 – Today we head for Etosha National Park. On the way we stop at the Petrified Forest. These petrified remains are trees that had fallen or been uprooted 250 million years ago and either floated down rivers or were brought down by flood waters. Overnight at Etosha Safari Camp (DBB)

Day 8 – We enter the Park and spend the whole day game viewing in the Park. The park is famous for its concentration of wildlife around its waterholes. Tonight we stay at Okaukuejo which has its own floodlit waterhole where you will be able to view the animals as they visit in the early evening. Overnight at Okaukuejo Rest Camp (DBB)

Day 9 – After an early departure, we travel to Windhoek via Outjo and Okahandja, where we stop for lunch and visit the Wood Carvers Market. Overnight at Windhoek or departure to Hosea Kutako International Airport for your evening flight back
